Amman - Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dr. Hisham Abdul Muti, Director of Al Omariya schools, to enhance the quality of education and renew school accreditation.
Al Omariya Schools were accredited by the organization in the academic year 2014/2015 as the first school in the Arab world to obtain accreditation. The evaluation is periodically carried out to ensure that the schools apply the educational quality standards and procedures.
During the signing ceremony held at the school premises, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh met the students of Al Omariya Schools and praised the role played by Al Omariya Schools in improving educational quality and ensuring its outstanding outputs within the framework of the Organization's standards of quality education.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his pride in signing this memorandum, which will establish a true partnership aimed at enhancing quality and innovation. He announced the opening of the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh College for Innovation and Innovation, pointing out that the foundation of its work is the graduation of those who will add the competitive value of professions and ways of living that accompany the world of knowledge.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stressed that building on the pillars of quality will move to more advanced levels, which will prepare educational institutions in the region to create a society that produces knowledge.
Abu-Ghazaleh highlighted the importance of following the standards of scientific quality and practical application and the need to develop the capabilities of schools and embrace the creative students through the support of various innovation projects for the industry of scientists.
For his part, Dr. Hisham Abdul Muti, Director General of Al Omariya Schools, said that the accreditation experience for schools is one of the most important practical steps that contribute to ensuring the quality of education and excellence in the framework of joint and integrated cooperation for management, teachers, students and parents.
The note includes scientific quality standards and practical application related to vision, mission, governance, education, students, communication, resources and continuous improvement.
During the ceremony, the departments and quality committees of the schools were honored in support of the quality of education.
The Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education is an independent institution headed by the Honorable Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, headed by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, has launched accreditation standards for schools in line with local& international standards and bring schools to a distinct level of educational services.
