AMMAN - HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital (TAG.GD), received in his office a delegation representing the Jordan-American Business Council (JABC) to discuss means of joint cooperation between the two parties, as well as the launch of a strategic partnership with Talal Abu-Ghazaleh & Co. International (TAG-Consult). The partnership aims at supporting innovation and digital transformation, while also strengthening economic and technical cooperation.

The cooperation was established under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two sides, stipulating the development of joint initiatives, exchange expertise and knowledge, institutional capacity building, and the expansion of international partnerships in priority sectors, positively contributing to the support of knowledge-based economic development.

During the meeting, the two parties emphasized that the rapid advancement in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, digital transformation, and the knowledge-based economy necessitates investing in the human capital, enhancing innovation, and strengthening cooperation among educational institutions, public-private sectors, professional organizations, and governments.

It is worth mentioning that the partnership between the two parties will focus on implementing programs and initiatives in the fields of entrepreneurship, innovation, AI, emerging technologies, capacity building, professional development, digital education, international-accredited certificates, workforce development, and expanding access to international markets. It will also enhance cooperation in technology, trade, investment, logistics services, and education.

In this context, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stated that the future belongs to individuals who are capable of investing in knowledge, innovation, and human. He affirmed that partnerships serve as channels of cooperation between nations, encompassing expertise with opportunities, and contributing to building more competitive and sustainable global economy.

He went on to express his pride in the collaboration with JABC in launching shared initiatives that empower individuals, enhance institutional capacities, and support international cooperation.

For their part, JABC delegation asserted the importance of this partnership in expanding channels of cooperation by connecting companies, entrepreneurs and institutions with business networks and international markets. This is in addition to launching shared initiatives in the fields of training, knowledge transfer, capacity building, innovation, and business development.

It is worth mentioning that the partnership builds upon TAG-Consult’s regional and international expertise in the fields of strategic consulting, institutional and digital transformation, AI, and professional education. This aligns with the Council’s wide network of relations in the United States which would effectively and successfully contribute to launching qualitative projects that support investment, enhance economic growth, and establish sustainable institutional cooperation between the two parties.
