AMMAN - HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA), said that the Organization signed an accreditation agreement with Al Aqsa Private Schools in Jeddah, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in an endeavor by the Schools to achieve quality assurance requirements in education.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh reaffirmed that AROQA strives constantly to develop and improve the educational institutions’ level in the Arab world, as well as to keep abreast of professional, practical and scientific advancement in accordance with the highest standards, expressing his pride in Al Aqsa schools that seek to develop and improve their educational quality.
The accreditation agreement was signed by Mr. Yaser Al Nadi, AROQA Executive Director, and Mr. Hamdan Alowadi, General Director of Al Aqsa Private Schools.
Alowadi expressed his pride in cooperating with AROQA, saying that: “Al Aqsa Private Schools seek, through their cooperation with AROQA, to boost educational level by applying education quality and accreditation standards”.
 For his part, Al Nadi pointed out that AROQA offers quality, accreditation and consulting services as well as capacity building services, in addition to holding training courses and workshops for the staff in the educational sector in the Arab countries to  maintain the highest levels of quality at the educational institutions.
 AROQA held a virtual workshop for Al Aqsa Private Schools’ staffs to introduce them to the standards and indicators of the School Accreditation Program relating to various areas of education, learning, students, institutional efficiency, resources, communication, creativity and excellence.
In addition, the participants were introduced to the indicators of the accreditation program including the curriculum’s efficacy in providing students with the necessary knowledge and skills, digital learning, the utilization of a comprehensive digital evaluation system and the documentation of results and outputs that measure improvement, in addition to the availability of the necessary technical materials and resources that support the educational process; in addition to the commitment to the continuous development process for quality assurance.
