The Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education, "AROQA", participated in the regional "virtual" workshop for consultation on: "The Arab Model for Quality and Excellence in Education Project", which was organized by the Regional Center for Quality and Excellence in Education - UNESCO in cooperation with the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science - ALECSO.
The workshop was held "digitally" online via Zoom, with the participation of a number of thinkers, experts and researchers specializing in the field of quality and excellence from several Arab countries, where the most prominent themes of the workshop were:
Models of Quality and Excellence and their role in promoting sustainable quality in education
- Distinguished international trends in reforming education systems that are based on standards and benchmarks
- The main areas proposed for standards and indicators of quality and excellence of education in Arab countries
- Requirements for ensuring the success of implementing quality and excellence standards in education in Arab countries
The workshop aims, through brainstorming, to collect ideas, discuss them, and review regional and global quality and excellence models, including the standards and indicators they contain, and what suits the Arab environment.
The participants reviewed their experiences and opinions about quality and excellence in education, and expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Regional Center for Quality and Excellence in Education "UNESCO" and the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science - ALECSO for the good management and organization of the workshop.
At the end of the workshop, the final results and recommendations were presented.
