The Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education, the Executive Director - in the Educational Program Solutions Department, the Quality Manager for Training and Supervisor of Arabic Linguistics, in Abu-Ghazaleh International, along with thinkers and specialized experts from several local, regional and international bodies,participated in a "virtual" workshop entitled "Developing the educational ladder structure throughout the year and the school day in the Arab countries” held by the Regional Center of Quality and Excellence in Education, on July 13, 2021.
After the welcoming speech of His Excellency Dr. Abdel Rahman Al-Modares, Director-General of the UNESCO Regional Center of Quality and Excellence in Education, the events included an opening speech by His Excellency Dr. Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education in the Arab Republic of Egypt, in addition to: reviewing the results of the study in presenting a comparative study for the eight countries The project outlines the most prominent global practices and trends in this field, the proposed executive framework and recommendations, which included the three main axes, which are the structure of the educational ladder, the length of the school year, the length of the school day, the fourth goal of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, and the seven goals of education.
In conclusion, he thanked those in charge of the study, the UNESCO Regional Center of Quality and Excellence in Education, for reviewing the outputs of the project study and discussing recommendations and proposals to ensure decision makers to take what suits their countries with their different circumstances affecting educational policy decision-making, which may open up prospects for new, innovative and applicable methods, and benefit from them.
