The Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education inaugurated a workshop entitled “Quality Management Systems” in cooperation with Department of Quality Management at the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) -Technical University of Aachen, at Talal Abu-Gazaleh University in Amman – Jordan, during 19-20 June 2013. This exciting workshop came in response to the requests received from several universities in the wake of the recent success achieved in the previous workshop held during the fourth annual conference in September 2012 in Cairo- Egypt.

This workshop delt with a systematic step by step approach to preparing quality management system at Universities, with focus on processes, procedure, boundary conditions, obstacles and barriers. Specifically, it introduced Q Wiki as an example of an interactive handbook implementation. The system presented a process flow of quality management as they are related to documentation for quality systems related to Students, Program, Faculty, and Institution.

WZL is a specialized in quality management and business development, they configure organizations, management systems and business processes to achieve a quality-oriented company alignment.
