AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman of the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA), received an honorary gratitude and appreciation certificate from Prof. Sharifi Masoud, Chairman of the Scientific Council of Science and Technology Institute for Physical and Sport Activities at the University of Bouira ‘Akli Mohand Oulhadj-Algeria’.

The certificate acknowledges Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s effective contribution to the success of scientific gatherings and events held in the Arab world, and his initiative exerted by AROQA, chaired by Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, in establishing the Organization’s 9th Annual Conference at the League of Arab States, December 3-4, 2017 under the theme “Quality Assurance and Accreditation: Challenges and Prospects”.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh extended his gratitude to the University, in particular to Dr. Masoud stressing his belief that education is the foundation of the future and that education should be delivered according to specific standards that ensure its comprehensivesss and allow students to be creative and innovative.

For his part, Dr. Masoud expressed his appreciation for Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s ongoing support to all activities and programs related to quality assurance and accreditation which aims at improving quality of education in the Arab region by boosting education in  Arab educational institutions, awareness, capacity building and by providing quality assurance and accreditation services.

Since its inception, AROQA endeavors to achieve its goals by organizing various activities and programs which it implements as a basis for the development of high-level quality at various educational institutions in the Arab world. Thanks to AROQA, conferences, workshops and seminars have been organized throughout the Arab states.
