Amman - The Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education held a workshop on Ranking of private schools to discuss criteria, standards and indicators of this Ranking, in which Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh praised the efforts of the Ministry of Education to adopt this unique initiative at the regional and international levels.
 
The Ranking focuses on digital and qualitative measurement, which is carried out in five main areas: teaching and learning, students, institutional competence, human resources and financial resources. The performance in each of these standards is assessed according to the Ranking through a set of methodological criteria, each of which includes indicators and instruments for accurate measurement.
 
The Ranking committee, chaired by Dr. Amin Mahmoud, the former Minister of Higher Education, prepared the Ranking document for the private schools, which is supported by the criteria of Ranking, indicators and measurement tools, in addition to the detailed application framework.
 
During his participation in the workshop, Minister of Education Dr. Omar Al-Razzaz expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education and his pride in this work which aims to improve educational outputs and raise the quality of education in private schools.
 
It is worth mentioning that the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education is an independent institution headed by the Honorable Secretary General of the League of Arab States and chaired by Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh. The Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education has launched accreditation standards for schools in line with international standards.
 
The organization devoted all resources and expertise to help schools obtain school accreditation by preparingeducational and administrative staff to implement local and international standards and procedures to bring schools to a distinct level of educational services.
