Jeddah - The Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA) and Jeddah Chamber signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to cooperate on the area of academic accreditation of educational institutions.
The memorandum was signed by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman of AROQA, and by HE Mazin Ben Mohammad Batraji, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber.
Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his appreciation to Jeddah Chamber for choosing AROQA for school accreditation in Saudi Arabia. He pointed out the importance of accreditation in supporting proper educational environments aligned with accreditation standards that cover all the aspects quality of education.
He confirmed that “AROQA has already launched academic accreditation standards for schools in line with the international standards. It has allocated all its resources and expertise to help schools obtain academic accreditation by applying standards, indicators, and measures of high-level educational services”.
For his part, Mr. Mazen Ben Mohammad Batraji said: “The Chamber considers this cooperation as part of its commitment to development of quality in education. It seeks to keep up with the improvements required to ensure a new generation that copes with a range of scientific, professional and practical developments”.
