‘Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital’ and British Council Renew Partnership in Cairo

CAIRO – The British Council
has renewed its strategic partnership with Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Information
Technology International (TAGITI), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global
Digital (TAG.GD) in Cairo, accrediting “Abu-Ghazaleh” as an official center for
conducting international examinations, including the International English
Language Testing System (IELTS), and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), in addition
to the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and the Chartered
Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) exams.
The agreement was signed by
Ms. Samar Al-Labbad, TAG.GD deputy chair, and Mr. Ammar Ahmed, Council director
of examinations, at the Council’s headquarters in Al Agouzah, Cairo.
The signing ceremony was
attended by Mr. Islam Shaban, director of planning at the
Council, Mr. Ahmed Fathy, TAGITI executive director, and Mr. Tarek Al-Khatib,
executive director of TAG.GD office in Cairo.
Under
the renewed agreement, Abu-Ghazaleh Center will continue to serve as an
accredited venue for conducting the aforementioned international exams, in line
with supporting the Council’s efforts in expanding access to international
qualifications for those willing to develop their educational and professional
path. Abu-Ghazaleh Center is distinguished for providing a secure and
well-equipped testing environment that meets international standards, ensuring
a smooth and comfortable exam experience.
The IELTS exam is the world’s
leading English language proficiency test, recognized by more than 11,000
institutions across 140 countries, including government bodies, universities,
and employers. Meanwhile, the CFA exam is a globally recognized qualification
in financial data analysis, awarded by the US-based CFA Institute (Chartered
Financial Analyst Institute).
Candidates in Egypt can choose
their preferred exam centers from the list of accredited venues via the
official registration system applicable in the country.
