‘Abu-Ghazaleh Global
Digital’ Signs Strategic Alliance Agreement with Global Center for AI
Excellence

AMMAN
– Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital (TAG.GD) and the Global Center for AI
Excellence (GCAIE) signed a strategic alliance agreement with the aim of
enhancing cooperation between the two corporations concerned with artificial
intelligence (AI).
The agreement was signed by HE Dr. Talal
Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of TAG.GD, and HE Dr. Yousef Saadeh, GCAIE
CEO and Managing Director.
According to the agreement, the two sides will
establish a long-term cooperation to develop responsible AI systems, strengthen
accreditation and assessment standards, launch specialized training and
qualification programs, and build efficient governance models that support
secure and ethical use of AI at the educational and economic institutions.
During the signing ceremony, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh
affirmed the necessity of leveraging AI as a cornerstone in developing
education and entities, as well as building knowledge-based economy, in a
mechanism that advances the standing of the Arab world as a regional hub in
this field. He also referred to the significance of benefitting from the
knowledge revolution in fostering creativity and innovation in the Arab youth.
He further stated, “Individuals must always
believe in their ambition to achieve their goals; success is a decision. Just
as we led the world in intellectual property, we seek to lead the world in
artificial intelligence.” He also called on governments to introduce
programming education into school curriculum, describing it as the foundation
of AI, which is fundamentally ‘interactive programming’.
For his part, Dr. Saadeh highlighted that the
alliance with TAG.GD represents more than an intellectual partnership; but
rather a comprehensive institutional alliance that lays the foundation for the
next phase. He remarked that the world today experiences a transformative shift
comparable in depth and impact to the 1960s, when Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh advocated
for intellectual property and the knowledge-based economy long before their
global importance was widely acknowledged.
Dr. Saadeh praised the efforts and cooperation
TAG.GD exerted in concluding the agreement, expressing pride in the alliance as
a significant step toward unifying efforts to develop reliable standards, build
qualified human capacities, and strengthen trust in AI applications across
institutions and sectors.
The signing ceremony was attended by a
distinguished group of academic leaders, officials, and experts specializing in
AI, education, and institutional accreditation.
Additionally, a high-level delegation
representing GCAIE, including the Center’s Chief Technology and Innovation
Officer (CTIO), Dr. Mohammad Sharif, the Center’s Country Representative in the
Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, HE Dr. Hani Al-Mimi; and Consultant and Regional
Head of Accreditation and Assessment, Mr. Nael Al-Awadi, in addition to a host
of TAG.GD managers, were all in attendance.
